SEOUL, Apr. 9 (Yonhap) -- The blockchain-based mobile voting application CRATOS announced on Apr. 9 that 60.1%(6,486 people) of 10,798 voting participants selected Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending" while voting on 4 popular spring songs for 5 days from Mar. 11.

CRATOS provided choices of the 4 songs, such as Roy Kim’s "Bom Bom Bom,” 10cm’s "What the Spring??” and "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms,” sung by HIGH4 and IU.

27.58% of the voting participants chose "Bom Bom Bom," 7.16% for "What the Spring??” and 5.16% for "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms.”

Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending,” which marks its 10th anniversary this year, is considered as a representative "spring carol" that climbs up the music charts every spring.

According to the company’s survey of “Favorite Cherry Blossom Spot” held for 5 days from Mar. 22, 49.18% of the respondents voted for “Jinhae Gunhangje.”

In a survey where 10,748 people participated, 26.66% of people chose “Gyeongju Bomun Lake,” 18.22% for “Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival” and 5.95% for “Busan Dalmaji-gil.”

Jinhae Gunhangje, the representative cherry blossom festival, has not been held for 3 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

CRATOS explained that more than 2.8 million people participate in surveys conducted through its application every day, and that the global version of CRATOS, which was released in December, 2021, has secured more than 100,000 users within 2 months of its launch.
