SEOUL, Dec. 24 (Yonhap) -- Member V of super group BTS has released cover song "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" without a notice ahead of Christmas, his agency Big Hit Music said on Saturday.

V posted the the cover as a Christmas gift for fans on the official sound cloud and blog of BTS at midnight.

The song is a Christmas masterpiece that has been steadily loved by the public since it was first released in 1951.

Legendary singers like Bing Crosby, Frank Sistra, and Michael Buble have sung this masterpiece, and this time, it can be heard in V's voice.

Big Hit Music said, "V, who likes to listen to jazz, well displayed the unique warmth of the song with his deep voice in this song," adding, "he presented a special gift that is sung in a different atmosphere from the original song."
