SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group BOYNEXTDOOR will launch its first world tour with a three-day concert in Seoul beginning Thursday, its agency, KOZ Entertainment, said.
The group will hold "KNOCK ON Vol.2" at KSPO Dome in Seoul's Olympic Park from July 17-19.
Having recently wrapped up promotions for its first full-length album, "HOME," BOYNEXTDOOR will continue its activities in the second half of the year through the world tour.
"We're excited and curious to see how ONEDOOR (our fandom) will respond," the members said. "People always say the beginning is important, and we'll make sure our first world tour gets off to a powerful start with no regrets."
"After learning so much from our previous Asian tour, we're looking forward to seeing how much we've grown this time," they added. "We've put a great deal of preparation into this tour, and we hope to give audiences unforgettable memories. Please look forward to a performance with a compelling beginning, middle and end."
Following the Seoul concerts, the tour will continue in Busan before heading to six Japanese cities -- Kanagawa, Saga, Osaka, Miyagi, Nagano and Chiba.
The group will then perform in 10 cities across North America, including Dallas, Pompano Beach, Chicago, New York, Toronto and Vancouver, before visiting six Asian cities, including Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei and Hong Kong.
The tour will comprise 35 concerts in 24 cities worldwide.
