SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- Global makeup brand Etude on Wednesday launched "ETUDE24," a limited-edition summer collaboration collection with food company Binggrae, featuring cosmetics inspired by the company's iconic ice cream brands.

The collection is created in collaboration with Ssang Ssang Bar, Babamba and Cherry Maru, reinterpreting each brand's distinctive identity through Etude's beauty concept.

The Ssang Ssang Bar-themed products reflect the brand's concept of sharing through a buy-one-get-one promotion, while the Babamba line incorporates warm-toned colors inspired by the familiar chestnut-flavored ice cream. The Cherry Maru collection features vibrant colors and a trendy aesthetic reflecting the product's refreshing cherry flavor.

Etude said the collaboration aims to offer consumers a sense of nostalgia and fun associated with familiar brands while providing a fresh beauty experience. The company also expects the partnership to broaden its appeal to a wider range of consumers and introduce new aspects of the three ice cream brands.

The collection focuses on Etude's long-lasting makeup products designed to withstand hot and humid summer weather. Limited-edition packaging and exclusive promotional merchandise have also been introduced to enhance the seasonal appeal.

The "ETUDE24" collection consists of four products: the Cherry Maru edition of the Fixing Tint, the Ssang Ssang Bar edition of the Curl Fix Mascara, the Cherry Maru edition of the My Petit Palette and the Babamba edition of the Re-Creation Maker contouring stick.

The Cherry Maru-themed Fixing Tint features a limited-edition summer formula with added moisture and a cooling sensation. Available in two shades -- "Cherry Cream Maru," a soft pink, and "Can't Stop Cherry," a bright cherry red -- the product comes with a Cherry Maru pouch as part of a promotional set.

Etude's bestselling Curl Fix Mascara is offered in collaboration with Ssang Ssang Bar in packaging inspired by the ice cream, with a buy-one-get-one promotion reflecting the product's signature shareable format. Customers purchasing the promotional set also receive a Ssang Ssang Bar cable holder. The mascara is available in four shades: Black, Brown, Volume and Long Lash.

The Cherry Maru edition of the My Petit Palette combines eye shadow, blush, contour and highlighter in a compact two-tier design. Promotional sets include a Cherry Maru key ring that can be attached to the palette.

The Re-Creation Maker is a multiuse contouring stick with a creamy texture designed for use on the lips, nose and facial contours. The Babamba-themed promotional set also includes a light-colored stick highlighter inspired by the ice cream to create more defined facial features.

The "ETUDE24" collection will be available at Olive Young stores beginning Wednesday and will later be released through various online sales channels. Etude will also offer limited-edition promotional items, including a Cherry Maru mirror, a Babamba pouch and a Babamba-themed powder puff.

"The 'ETUDE24' collection combines the playful appeal of summer ice cream with Etude's long-lasting makeup solutions that help makeup stay in place even during the hottest weather," an Etude official said. "We hope consumers enjoy Etude's unique summer mood together with makeup that lasts throughout the season."
