SEOUL, Nov. 4 (Yonhap) -- Netflix has newly added three of “Squid Game” director Hwang Dong-hyuk’s films to their service.

They will service three of director Hwang’s films on Netflix U.S., according to the giant streaming platform’s official Twitter page on Thursday (local time).

The added films are “The Fortress” (2017), “Miss Granny” (2014) and “Silenced” (2011). They are available on Netflix Korea as well.

“The Fortress” is a historical production featuring the Qing invasion of Joseon. The film shows the fate of King Injo (Park Hae-il), Chief State Councilor Choe Myeong-gil (Lee Byung-hun) and the minster of Culture and Education Kim Sang-hŏn (Kim Yun-seok) who evacuated into a fortress called Namhansanseong and discussed whether to turn in or not during the invasion.

“Miss Granny” starring Shim Eun-kyung is a heart-touching comedy of a foul-mouthed granny magically turning into a 20-year-old lady while taking a funeral photo. “Silenced” starring Gong Yoo deals with the teachers’ brutal sexual abuses on hearing-impaired children.
