Dilkusha is a house of an AP news agency's temporary correspondent, Albert Taylor who telegraphed the March 1st Movement for Korea's Independence from the Japanese colonialism which took place in 1991. Taylor built the house in 1923 in Haengchon-dong, Jongno-gu and lived until banished by the Japan’s Governor-General of Chosen in 1942.

The Seoul City started restoring the long-time deserted house in 2018 and has opened it as an exhibition hall in March 2021. The interior is back in its form based on a photograph of when the house was occupied by the Taylor couple. Visitors can see the couple’s living style and activities as journalists in the early 1900s.
However, the house is open 4 times a day with a limit of 20 visitors for each session, due to the social distancing measures.
Sohn Kee-chung’s laurel tree, located in Sohn Kee-chung Park, has been designated as this month’s Seoul cultural heritage as well. The park was built on the lands of Sohn’s old school, former Yangchung High School.
Sohn received a sapling from Hitler after winning the gold medal for men’s marathon in 1936 Berlin Olympics and brought it back home which grew into a tree now known as Sohn Kee-Chung’s laurel tree.
