SEOUL, Feb. 29 (Yonhap) -- On the 29th, Disney+ revealed that a new original series titled “Gangnam B-Side,” starring actors Jo Woo-jin, Ji Chang-wook, and Ha Yoon-kyung, will be released in the latter half of this year.

“Gangnam B-Side” is a crime drama that follows a fallen elite detective, a disgraced prosecutor, and a mysterious broker as they chase after the dark cartel that dominates the glamorous nights of Gangnam.

Jo Woo-jin portrays Detective Kang Dong-woo, an elite former police officer who was suddenly demoted. With a personality that doesn't hesitate to push through obstacles when he becomes fixated on something.

Ji Chang-wook takes on the role of Yoon Gil-ho, a mysterious broker who holds control over Gangnam. Having survived by living in the darkest corners of the flashy city, he has led a grassroots life.

Ha Yoon-kyung, known for her roles in dramas like 'Hospital Playlist' joins the cast as Prosecutor Min Seo-jin. Originating from a national university, she has strived straight ahead in the Prosecutor's Office with no connections, aiming for promotion.

The upcoming series will be directed by Park Noo-ri, known for directing the film “Money.”
