SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME Distribution Center), an affiliate of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said Wednesday it has selected 124 startup companies to participate in the "Hyundai Beauty Festa," a pop-up event held in partnership with Hyundai Department Store's beauty select shop, Be CLEAN.

The pop-up event is designed to help small and medium-sized K-beauty companies expand their sales channels and foster the growth of emerging brands. It will be held at Hyundai Department Store's Pangyo and Sinchon branches starting in October.

A total of 58 companies will take part in the Pangyo event, scheduled for Oct. 2-8, where they will promote their products and offer special discounts.
