IVE joins jamboree K-pop concert lineup
SEOUL, Aug. 10 (Yonhap) -- Girl group IVE has joined the lineup for the K-pop concert that will wrap up the 2023 World Scout Jamboree later this week, culture ministry and organizers said on Thursday.
IVE will perform as part of the “K-Pop Super Live” Friday at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, along with the closing ceremony of the jamboree, according to the jamboree’s organizing committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
IVE was initially scheduled to perform at the K-pop concert held at Saemangeum Campground on Sunday, but due to changes in the date and location, they were removed from the list.
Minister Park Bo-kyun welcomed IVE’s decision to stick to the jamboree concert lineup. He said, "We welcome IVE's decision to adjust their schedule voluntarily to keep their promise of performing on the 6th and participate in the K-pop concert. We anticipate that Saemangeum Scout Jamboree will conclude with the overwhelming charm of K-pop."
K-Pop Super Live will feature a total of 19 teams including Nuz, NCT Dream, MONSTA X unit Shownu and Hyungwon, MAMAMOO, Kang Daniel, ITZY, THE BOYZ, fromis_9, ZEROBASE ONE and Kwon Eun-bi.
