SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Yonhap) --

K-pop group Seventeen has appeared on the popular NPR Music program “Tiny Desk,” their agency Pledis Entertainment said on Tuesday.

Members Joshua, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino staged a roughly 30-minute live performance in “SEVENTEEN: Tiny Desk Concert,” released on the NPR Music YouTube channel on Monday (local time).

They performed their hit “Super” to open the set, followed by “Clap,” “HOT,” “SOS,” “_WORLD” and “Rock with You.”

“Tiny Desk” is a small-scale live concert program that focuses on the essence of music. Global stars such as Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter have appeared on the show.

Seventeen became the first K-pop group to perform for the program at NPR’s headquarters office in Washington, D.C.

“We’re delighted to appear on a program we regularly enjoy,” the group said. “Because we were singing in an actual office, we expected a calmer and quieter atmosphere, but it felt like a full-fledged concert. We never imagined such a response on ‘Tiny Desk.’ We had a wonderful time thanks to everyone.”

The group is currently meeting global fans through its new world tour “NEW_.”
