SEOUL, June 5 (Yonhap) -- Jun. K of K-pop boy group 2PM will release the digital single "Midnight Ticket" on June 15, his agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.
The release will mark his first new music in nine months since the fourth solo EP, "Dear my muse."
Known as a singer-songwriter who has written and composed numerous songs, Jun. K is expected to showcase another self-produced work through the upcoming single.
Ahead of the release, he will hold a special event titled "DAYLIGHT GOES, THE NIGHT BEGINS" at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall Concert Hall in western Seoul on June 13, with performances scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
He is set to unveil the new song live for the first time at the event.
