SEOUL, Oct. 24 (Yonhap) -- Actors Kim Yo-han and Hwang Bo-reum-byeol will star in a new campus romance series, “The Fourth Love Revolution,” streaming service Wavve said Thursday.
The Wavve original series is set to premiere on Nov. 13. It tells the story of Joo Yeon-san (played by Hwang), a computer engineering student who has never dated, and Kang Min-hak (played by Kim), a popular model and influencer with over a million followers. The two meet unexpectedly after their departments are merged due to a university restructuring, leading to a romantic comedy of errors.
The series is co-directed by Yoon Sung-ho, known for “Going to the Blue House Like This,” “Top Management,” and the film “Milky Way Liberation Front,” and Han In-mi, who worked on “The Trend Is Lily” and “Everyone’s Lover.”
The script was written by members of the creative group Songpyeon, including Song Hyun-joo (“A Week Before I Die”) and Kim Hong-gi (“Extreme Festival”).
