SEOUL, July 17 (Yonhap) -- New rom-com series 'Because I Want No Loss,' starring Shin Min-a and Kim Young-dae, will premiere on August 26, tvN announced on the 17th. 

 

'Because I Want No Loss' is a 12-episode drama that tells the story of Son Hae-young (played by Shin Min-a), who stages a fake wedding because she doesn't want to incur any losses, and Kim Ji-wook (played by Kim Young-dae), who becomes her fake groom due to his aversion to causing others harm.

 

Shin Min-a transforms into Son Hae-young, a calculating office worker who evaluates relationships based on profit and loss. Kim Young-dae portrays Kim Ji-wook, a night-shift convenience store clerk who cannot ignore people in need and becomes Son Hae-young's fake husband.

 

Lee Sang-yi plays Bok Kyu-hyun, a third-generation chaebol and non-marriage advocate, while Han Ji-hyun takes on the role of Nam Ja-yeon, an author of provocative web novels.

 

The drama is directed by Kim Jung-sik, known for 'Work Later, Drink Now' and 'Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon,' and written by Kim Hye-young, who penned 'Her Private Life.'

 

Jointly produced by tvN and TVING, 'Because I Want No Loss' will air every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM on tvN, with new episodes released on TVING simultaneously. Additionally, the series will be available in over 240 countries through Amazon Prime Video.
