SEOUL, Oct. 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rapper Verbal Jint will release his new single "What If" at 6 p.m. Thursday, his agency, Brand New Music, said.

"What If" is a pre-release track from his upcoming full-length album "10 Years of Misreading II." The song starts with the question, "What would I look like now if I had made a different choice back then?"

In the song, Verbal Jint reflects on past choices that everyone may have wondered about at least once and how his life might have turned out differently as a result, expressing the thoughts in his characteristically candid and understated style. Rapper and producer Justhis and rapper B-Free feature on the track.

"10 Years of Misreading II" is a sequel to "10 Years of Misreading I," released in 2012, marking Verbal Jint's first follow-up to the album in 14 years.
