SEOUL, June 1 (Yonhap) -- K-pop supergroup BTS will hold its annual "BTS FESTA" celebration to mark the 13th anniversary of its debut, the group's agency said Monday.

 

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, BTS FESTA is a festival commemorating the group's June 13 debut date and will run for about two weeks around the anniversary.

 

This year's event will coincide with BTS' "ARIRANG" world tour concerts scheduled for June 12-13 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, with a variety of special content set to be unveiled.

 

The theme of this year's FESTA is "13(B)TS." The agency said the title symbolizes adding a new "1" shared by BTS and its fandom, ARMY, to the group's 12-year journey, representing a new starting point as they move forward together into the next chapter.

 

On June 4, BTS will release a group photo shoot based on a family-themed concept.

 

The group will then unveil a performance video for "Hooligan," a track from its fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG," on June 5.

 

Its in-house variety content series "Run BTS 2.0" will be released on June 10-11, while "Come Over" -- a new song previously available only on the deluxe vinyl edition of "ARIRANG" -- will be released on streaming platforms June 12.

 

Additional content and special events will be rolled out throughout the festival period, the agency said.
