BUSAN, June 10 (Yonhap) -- Lotte World Adventure Busan said Wednesday it will launch its summer festival, "Water Splash: Attack of the Romantic Pirates," from June 19 through Aug. 30 as the summer heat intensifies.

 

During the festival period, a nighttime parade designed to cool visitors from tropical nights will take place at Royal Garden Square at 7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 p.m. on weekends.

 

Inspired by a pirate crew landing at the theme park, the parade will combine thrilling elements with refreshing attractions.

 

A "Cooling Parade" featuring powerful water cannons will also be held daily at 2 p.m.

 

Various new performances are scheduled alongside the parades.

 

The park will present a show featuring EDM arrangements of the Lotte World theme song, as well as a K-pop dance party.

 

A live DJ party and fireworks display will be held at Royal Garden Square every Saturday in June starting at 7:40 p.m.

 

Throughout the festival, a Water Ground zone will be set up at Garden Stage Square, allowing visitors to enjoy pirate-themed water gun battles.
