SEOUL, Sept. 11 (Yonhap) -- IU's new digital single "Unknown Planet" topped music charts including Melon, Genie and Bugs, her agency EDAM Entertainment said Thursday.

 

Released at 6 p.m. Wednesday, "From This Star" ranked No. 1 on Melon's "Hot 100," Genie Music's "Top 200" and Bugs' real-time chart on the day of its release. It also topped Melon's "Top 100" on Thursday.

 

The other double-title track, "Dear my crazy soulmate," also ranked near the top of major music charts.

 

The single marks IU's first new song in a year since "Bye, Summer," released in September last year, and serves as a pre-release track for her upcoming sixth full-length album.
