SEOUL, Sept. 29 (Yonhap) -- Jinho, the eldest member of K-pop boy group Pentagon, has completed his mandatory military service.

The 29-year-old singer will be officially discharged from the military on Nov.14 without having to return to his base after his final leave, according to the military's COVID-19 guidelines, according to Cube Entertainment.

Jinho, who enlisted in May 2020, is the first Pentagon member to complete mandatory military service. In February, Pentagon's leader Hui was enlisted and the boy band continued the team with seven members only.
