SEOUL, Sep. 11 (Yonhap) -- “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” (Shang-Chi), the first Asian Marvel hero movie, has exceeded a million audiences.
“Shang-Ci” has recorded 102,622 of accumulative audiences at 8 a.m. Sep. 11 which was the 11th day since its release, according to Walt Disney Company Korea Saturday. The film has been securing box office No.1 for 10 consecutive days since its release on the 1st.
Earlier foreign movies, “Black Widow” and “Fast and Furious 9” have stood over a million audiences in 4 day and 5 days since their releases, respectively.
The recent Marvel blockbuster which is the second film of Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Four and the birth of the new hero is a story of Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) growing into a real hero awakening the mystical powers hidden inside him and confronting his father (Leung Chiu-wai) who has been ruling the world of darkness with the legendary power of the ‘Ten Rings.’
