SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Yonhap) -- 2NE1's Minzy will release a new song on Sept. 28, her agency MZ Entertainment said Tuesday.

 

The agency described the comeback as "a starting point for fully showcasing the music Minzy is pursuing and her direction as an artist."

 

The new song is a soulful R&B track, with Minzy taking charge of the lyrics, composition and production herself.

 

"I was deeply involved throughout the creative process," Minzy said. "It fully captures who I am as an artist."
