SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) -- Girl group Weeekly’s Shin Ji-yoon who stopped activities for about 4 months due to health issues will return to the music stage, her management agency IST Entertainment announced Tuesday.

“Thanks to your warm cheers and caring, Shin Ji-yoon could take enough time to recover her health for 4 months. So, Weeekly will resume acting as a complete 7-piece group from the 15th,” said the agency through social media on the 14th.

Shin and her agency, family and the doctor have been checking whether she could return to schedules considering Shin’s health as their first priority. Through a recent discussion, they agreed that she has become fit to carry on activities.

“During the break, I tried my best to recover health and have been exercising and studying as well. After truly looking at myself and taking enough rest, I feel confident that I will be able to do better,” said Shin through fan community Weverse.

She stopped schedules in August as she showed symptoms of anxiety.
