SEOUL, Jan. 16 (Yonhap) – NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, sold over 5.61 million copies of their album last year, according to their agency SM Entertainment.

The septet – Jaemin, Jisung, Jeno, Renjun, Chenle, Haechan, and Mark Lee – had a busy year releasing several albums including their second studio album “Glitch Mode” released in Mar. 2022, repackage album “Beatbox” released in May, and the remake of a 90s’ K-pop classic “Candy.”

The group had sold a total of 5.616 million copies of these three albums as of Sunday, with 2.095 million copies of “Glitch Mode,” 1.517 million copies of “Beatbox,” and 2.004 million copies of “Candy.” Even though the last album, “Candy,” was released as a winter special single, it unprecedentedly earned the title of a double million seller.

This global mega-hit group is expecting to meet fans at Kyocera Dome Osaka by holding a solo concert next month.
