BLACKPINK's Lisa surpasses 100 million streams with 'Lalisa' on Spotify

SEOUL, Oct. 26 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group BLACKPINK's Lisa, who released her solo album "Lalisa," has surpassed 100 million streams on music platform Spotify, according to YG Entertainment on Tuesday.

This record comes 46 days after the song was released on Sept. 10.

The shortest period of achieving 100 million streams for a K-pop solo artists on Spotify is 37 days, which was set again by Lisa with her other hip-hop song 'Money." As a result, Lisa owns both first and second place on this category.

"Lalisa" gained popularity around the world, ranking No. 84 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and No. 64 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart.
