SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- A book about 30 years of director Park Chan-wook's film life is to be made.

According to the crowdfunding platform Tumblbug website on Friday, director Park's 30th debut anniversary book "Finally, Park Chan-wook" (translated) far exceeded the target price of 65 million won, production expected to be completed by the end of next month. As of 10:00 am Friday, the number of participants in the sponsorship surpassed 1,960, and about 230 million won was raised, exceeding 350% of the target price.

The approximately 600-page book contains stories about all the works Park has participated in, from the short and long films directed by Park to planning, production, and screenplay. You can also see an interview with director Quentin Tarantino, a conversation with director Lee Kyung-mi, and the scene of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where he won the Best Director Award for movie "Decision to Break Up."

Actors who have appeared in Park's works, such as Park Hae-il and Tang Wei from "Decision to Break Up" and Lee Young-ae from "Lady Vengeance," as well as domestic and foreign celebrities also participated in the production of the book. They show their affection and respects towards Park through the book.
