LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10(Yonhap) – The cast of “All of Us Are Dead,” which has been a smash hit on Netflix following “Squid Game,” conducted an interview with NBC News on Feb, 9(U.S. Time).
In an e-mail interview with NBC's "Asian American" session, actors Cho Yi-hyun(Choi Nam-ra), Yoon Chan-young(Lee Cheong-san), Park Ji-hoo(Nam On-jo), and Lomon (Lee Su-hyeok) said that “All of Us Are Dead” captured the identity of Generation Z.
“All of Us Are Dead,” based on the popular webtoon of the same title, displays the story of students struggling to survive in a high school where the zombie virus spread.
Cho Yi-hyun said that the series depicted a dual identity many Gen-Zers feel.
Cho said, citing the plot and lines from the drama, “We won’t be the first to be rescued. We’re not that important. We’re just students. Nothing more.”
She added, “You know how students are not children but not yet adults either? I’m like that. I’m neither human nor a monster.”
