SEOUL, May 28 (Yonhap) -- Aespa's first full-length album 'Armageddon' has reached the top of iTunes 'Top Album' charts in 25 regions worldwide, announced their agency SM Entertainment.
Released on the 27th, the album claimed the number one spot in countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Additionally, it topped the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
In Asia, 'Armageddon' proved its popularity by securing the number one spot on the integrated K-pop chart across five music platforms under China's Tencent Music, as well as the top position on Japan's local AWA real-time rising chart.
Domestically, one of the double title tracks, 'Armageddon,' entered the top ten on major music charts such as Melon, Bugs, and Genie. Previously released title track 'Supernova' achieved the number one position on real-time charts of Melon and Bugs.
It’s impressive to see Aespa achieving such widespread success with their album. However, are you certain about the release dates and chart positions mentioned? It might be useful to double-check as some specific chart placements can fluctuate quickly.
