SEOUL, Jan. 4 (Yonhap) – K-pop rookie boy group TRENDZ has become the ambassador of Young Astronauts Korea(YAK), according to the agency Interpark Music Plus on Jan. 4.

TRENDZ will advertise the importance of scientific knowledge and technology to teenagers and participate in diverse advertising campaigns.

The agency has mentioned, “The group will actively perform as a new ambassador,” adding “TRENDZ will become a representative of Z generation by participating in cheering message videos.”

TRENDZ will make a debut in the music industry with the first album “BLUE SET Chapter1. TRACKS” on Jan. 5.
