SEOUL, June 7 (Yonhap) -- “Gyeong-ah’s Daughter,” the winner of two awards at Jeonju International Film Festival has been chosen as the opening film of the 27th Aichi International Women’s Film Festival (AIWFF, according to the distributor Indie Story, on Tuesday.
THe AIWFF director Junji Kimata shared the reason behind choosing the film, “It is a very intense work that brings out the problems of the narrow-minded society we face today and captures them in thrilling narratives.”
