SEOUL, July 3 (Yonhap) -- Cube Entertainment, home to K-pop acts i-dle and NOWZ, said Friday it will take legal action against individuals or companies falsely claiming to have secured investments or approvals for its artists' performances in China.

The agency said it has recently identified cases in which some companies have spread false information suggesting they are authorized to arrange concerts by Cube artists in China.

Cube stressed that it has not approved any such companies to organize or promote performances involving its artists in the Chinese market and urged the public to exercise caution to avoid potential 피해 from such impersonation schemes.

"The company will continue to take necessary measures to protect the rights and interests of our artists and prevent damage caused by the spread of false information and impersonation," it said.

"It will respond firmly through all available civil and criminal legal measures, including filing lawsuits and criminal complaints, against anyone found engaging in such activities."

i-dle, one of Cube's flagship groups, is scheduled to release its ninth EP, "We made," at 6 p.m. Sunday. NOWZ is also preparing new music with the aim of making a comeback next month.
