SEOUL, Dec. 24 (Yonhap) -- A new weekend drama, titled "Twenty-five Twenty-one" in Korean, will broadcast its first episode on Feb. 12 at 9 p.m., according to South Korean cable channel tvN on Friday.
"Twenty-five Twenty-one," starring actors Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk, takes place in 1998 and depicts the growth of young people after their dreams are taken away.
Kim will play Na Hee-do, who dreams of pursuing fencing even after her team was disbanded due to the IMF financial crisis, and Nam will play Baek Yi-jin, who becomes a reporter after living in economic difficulties. In addition, K-pop girl group WJSN's Bona, actor Choi Hyun-wook and actress Lee Joo-myung will star in the drama as well.
Kwon Do-eun and Jung Ji-hyun, the screenwriter and producer for drama "Search: WWW," will once again work together for the upcoming drama.
