SEOUL, Aug. 10 (Yonhap) -- Seohyun and Na In-woo are cast as leading roles for an upcoming series “Jinxed Couple” which has recently kicked off its filming, according to an official from the drama Tuesday.

The series, based on a popular webtoon with the same title, depicts an encountering of a poor man and the goddess of fortune hidden by a rich and powerful family.

Seohyun will take the role of Seul-bi who can see the future of the person she touches. This mysterious girl grew up confined in a secret room and one day manages to escape. She meets Gong Soo-kwang (Na) and spends a fantastic day with him. From then on, she begins to dream for a life in the outside world.

Na, as Gong Soo-kwang, a fish market salesman carrying a special jinx, loses everything and lives a totally different life after encountering with Seul-bi.

The series will be led by Yoon Sang-ho, director of “River Where the Moon Rises,” and the screenplay is written by Jang Yun-mi who wrote for films such as “Cheer Up, Mr. Lee,” “Luck-Key,” “Madonna,” and “Scarlet Innocence.”

The company and dates for broadcast is not confirmed yet.
