SEOUL December 3 (Yonahp) -- Actors and actresses representing South Korean movie industry such as Choi Min-sik to Song Hye-kyo will be decorating the S. Korean over the top service with various series.
December which includes number of celebratory dates such as Christmas to end of the year, is considered as one of the greatest time period to attract users among those within the industry of over the top services.
◇ Actor Choi Min-sik returns with TV series in 25 years… actor Jung Hae-in tries out Science Fiction for the first time.
Over the top media online media service provider Disney + will be showcasing South Korean series conducted by Japanese director Miike Takashi, “Connect” and “Big Bet” starring actor Choi Min-sik back to back.

Series “The Glory” which will premiere on December 30, is a revenge series by director Kim Eun-sook, and producer Ahn Kil-ho known for his work with “Stranger.”
“The Glory” is about a girl who experienced soul crushing trauma due to violance, where she grows up to plan a perfect revenge towards the one who caused her trauma.
Song Hye-kyo shifted her image as lovely romantic character to a victim of school violence. Song Hye-kyo acted out Moon-dong who puts her life on the line to pull a revenge on everyone who participated in school violence.
Collaboration between Director Kim Eun-sook and producer Ahn Kil-ho and actress Song Hye-kyo attracts interest of potential audiences.
On top of “The Glory” Netflix plans on releasing two of South Korean series within December. This will be Netflix’s first time releasing three of the series within a month.
“The Fabulous” premiering on December 23, is a youth series feature K-pop boy group Shinee’s Min-ho and actor Choi Soo-bin.
Throughout the series cast members showcased love, dream, friendship and more of students. Since Min-ho as enormous amount of fandom within Asia, the upcoming series will be loved by global fans around Asia.
“The Fabulous” was expected to premiere in November, however due to Itaewon tragedy, they have pushed the release date of the series to December.
“Money Heist: Joint Economic Area Season 2” will be premiering on December 9. Part one of the series released in June, received negative criticisms due to lack of uniqueness compare to its original series released in Spain.
Throughout part 2 “Seoul” a new character which does not exist within the original series will be introduced to lighten up the mood

Tving, Watcha and number of South Korea’s original over the top content providers offered heartwarming series.
Tving will premiere “Work Later Drink Now” season 2 which attracted a lot of viewers with its first season in 2021 on December 9. “Work Later Drink Now” which is based on Webtoon depicts lives of three girls who lives by the motto of ending a day with a cold can of beer.
Season 1 of the series featured actress Jeong Eun-ji, Choi, Han Sun-hwa, Lee Sun-bin, and more of the unique actresses and received a lot of positive feedbacks from the viewers by depicting the lives of young people with humor and on point emotional curves.
Season 2 of the series will feature all three of the main actresses. They are expected to showcase mature and whimsical way of drinking.
Watcha, which was experiencing lack of contents is currently showcasing the series “Recipe for Farewell” starring Han Suk-kyu since December 1.
“Recipe for Farewell” which is based on the essay of the writer Kim Chang-rae depicts husband Chang-wook who learns how to cook in order to provide his wife who is ill and every meal of the day counts. Throughout the series Han Suk-kyu showcases, Kimchi-rice, beef noodle soup and more.
