SEOUL, March 15 (Yonhap) -- Actress Jeon Yeo-been, popularly known for starring in the tvN drama "Vincenzo", will star in the Netflix original drama "Glitch"

On March 15th, Netflix announced that "Actress Jeon Yeo-been joined the cast of "Glitch" as the main character Hong Ji-hyo".

"Glitch", written by writer Jin Han-sae, who also wrote the scripts for the popular Netflix drama, "Extracurricular", tells the story of Hong Ji-hyo who works with UFO community members to discover the truth about her lover who disappeared through unidentified lights.

Jeon Yeo-been won the Best New Actress Award at the 2018 Daejong Film Awards for her performance in "After My Death" and is quickly becoming famous after starring as the leading role in the drama "Melo Is My Nature" in 2019, followed by "Vincenzo" in 2021.

The director of "Glitch" will be director Roh Deok who has shown a wide spectrum as a film director through movies including, "Very Ordinary Couple", "Journalist", as well as TV dramas such as "SF8".

The release date is yet to be decided.
