SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- Actors Kim So-yeon and Kim Ji-suk will headline the upcoming JTBC romance series "Love Rediscovered," set to air in the second half of the year, the broadcaster said Wednesday.
"Love Rediscovered" follows a divorced couple who not only continue to share a home but also find themselves working at the same company, leading them to rediscover each other.
Kim So-yeon will play Jang Ha-kyung, a contract employee at the VIP club lounge front desk of the fictional Jeravi Hotel. Once a successful hotelier, she experiences a career interruption due to marriage and child-rearing and, after her divorce, ends up working at the same hotel as her ex-husband.
Kim Ji-suk will portray Lee Dong-jin, deputy manager of marketing for the Jeravi Hotel VIP club lounge. Proud of having devoted himself to supporting his wife and child, he is unexpectedly divorced after Jang tells him one day that she is unhappy.
The drama is written by Kim Young-in, whose previous works include "Run, Rose" and "Love Is Drop by Drop," and directed by Lee Dong-yoon, known for "20th Century Boy and Girl" and "She Would Never Know."
