SEOUL, May 2 (Yonhap) -- K-pop sensation BTS’ Suga will be dressed up in Maison Valentino’s special jackets during his first-ever solo world tour, the leading Italian luxury fashion house confirmed Monday.

After rolling out his very first solo album on April 21 by his other stage name Agust D, the artist kicked off his first world tour as a soloist at New York’s Belmont Park UBS Arena.

The luxury brand will be joining this long-awaited world tour with jackets designed exclusively for the Korean artist by its creative director Pielpaolo Picholi. He will be wearing a specially made reversible jacket with the artist’s name, “SUGA,” embroidered on its left arm and the artist’s other stage name “Agust D” imprinted on the right. The back of the jacket will be embellished with the title of his debut solo album “D-DAY.”

Suga will be wearing denim pants to match the spangled white jacket while dressing up in slacks for the black jacket.

Maison Valentino is previously known for making stage costumes for highly renowned artists including Janet Jackson, Sam Smith, and Dua Lipa.
