SEOUL, September 1  (Yonhap) -- Busan city announced on Thursday that it will participate in a fair trade campaign, which promotes selling accommodations at a reasonable price. with Yanolja, a travel platform, ahead of the BTS concert in Busan.

This is due to recent cases in which some accommodation facilities in Busan unilaterally canceled reservations or demanded more money for their own profit.

Yanolja induces participation in fair trade by displaying a pop-up notice “Prepared city, Let’s come together as one to show aspect of capable city” to 670 partner lodging companies in Busan.

Busan city plans to set up a joint inspection team with the districts and counties to carry out activities to prevent unfair business practices until Oct. 15, which is when BTS concert is held in the hopes of hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo.
