SEOUL, Jan. 6 (Yonhap) -- Boy group BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe,” succeeded in staying on the Billboard Main Single charts, Hot 100, for 14 weeks in a row.
“My Universe,” ranked No. 72 on Hot 100, 12 steps higher than last week, according to Billboard's latest chart, Wednesday (the U.S. Time).
Furthermore, the song ranked No. 10 on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart and the Canada Hot AC chart, No. 32 on the Canadian Digital Song Sales, No. 34 on the Canada CHR/TOP, and No. 56 on the Canadian Hot 100.
BTS’ “Butter,” released on May 2021, returned to No.31 on the Digital Song Sales chart and ranked No. 7 on the Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter.
BTS entered the Billboard Global 200, which ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity in more than 200 territories around the world, and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with four songs respectively.
In the Billboard Global 200, “Butter” was at No. 41, as well as “My Universe” at 43rd, “Dynamite” at 70th, and “Permission To Dance” at 136th.
“Butter” ranked No. 29, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, including “My Universe” at No. 34, "Dynamite" at No. 45, and “Permission To Dance” at No. 47.
The 4th studio album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7”, released in Feb. 2020, ranked 176th on the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200,” and stayed on the charts for 91 consecutive weeks. The album ranked No. 54 on the Top Album Sales chart.
The album "BE," released on Nov. 2020, jumped to No. 43 on the Top Current Album Sales and No. 81 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Meanwhile, BTS V’s "Christmas Tree,” a song from the soundtrack of the South Korean TV series "Our Beloved Summer," ranked No. 79 on the Hot 100 as well as No.1 on the Digital Song Sales and Top Selling Songs, No. 2 on the Canadian Digital Song Sales, and No. 4 on the Hot Trending Songs.
