SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- PJ and Jiseok of K-pop group Big Ocean have formed the group’s first subunit, "Big Ocean JJ," and will release their debut track "BUCKET HAT" on June 9, their agency Parastar Entertainment announced Tuesday.

 

The subunit will premiere the song and its music video at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) "AI for Good" Global Summit, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on the same day.

 

At the event, the members are expected to present a performance incorporating bucket hats as props, along with a sign language rap segment.

 

Earlier, Big Ocean was also confirmed as the only K-pop act participating in "Anime Friends 2025," to be held in São Paulo, Brazil, on July 3.
