SEOUL, Oct. 8 (Yonhap) -- Re:N.K., a beauty brand operated by Coway's cosmetics subsidiary Hiller-V, has entered 50 Costco stores across the United States, the company said Thursday.

Re:N.K. has so far sold its products through major U.S. online distribution channels, including Costco's online store, Amazon and TikTok Shop. The latest move marks the brand's full-fledged push into the local offline market.

Previously, the brand's "Cell to Cell Cream" and "Cell to Cell Essence" sold out early on Costco's online store in March and May, respectively, receiving a positive response from local consumers.

Along with its entry into Costco stores, Re:N.K. has introduced a new product, "Celestial Collagen Cream."

The cream uses collagen water instead of purified water and contains eight types of collagen, peptides and the company's proprietary ingredient "Re:N.K. Celestial." It is designed to help improve skin density and elasticity.

Re:N.K. has also been expanding its distribution network in South Korea this year, entering stores including The Hyundai Seoul's "The Wellness House" and "Musinsa Beauty Hongdae."

The brand plans to further expand its distribution network to North America, including Canada, as well as Europe.

"Re:N.K.'s entry into Costco's physical stores in the U.S. is an opportunity to directly showcase our collagen skincare technology to local consumers," a Re:N.K. official said. "We will continue to introduce differentiated K-beauty products and steadily expand our global distribution network."
