SEOUL, July 29 (Yonhap) -- "Just when I thought I had prepared a surprise, I realized you’ve always been thoughtful and caring. Thank you."

 

Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, marking his 20th anniversary, shared his heartfelt thoughts and determination to keep working hard in the future.

 

On the 29th, his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, reported that Lee Seung-gi held his 20th-anniversary fan meeting, '7300+', on the 27th at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Ewha Womans University Samsung Hall in Seoul.

 

Appearing in jeans, a white belt, a black shirt, and a white jacket—reminiscent of his debut stage 20 years ago—Lee Seung-gi performed his hit song "Because You're My Woman."

 

Reflecting on his 20th anniversary and his recent move to a new company, Lee Seung-gi said, "I wanted to prepare this fan meeting to have a chance to meet with all of you."

 

When asked by fans about his new album, he revealed, "I asked senior Yoon Jong-shin for a song."

Lee Seung-gi also performed "Delete" from his debut album, reminiscing, "Singing 'Delete' at this 20th-anniversary fan meeting reminds me of when I was in high school during the first album."

 

Expressing his gratitude, he said, "I am so happy to be able to meet with fans, look back on the past 20 years, and share stories. This year, I will focus on making a great album and steadily prepare as a singer to greet you with an amazing concert."

 

Lee Seung-gi debuted in 2004 with his first album 'Dream of a Moth,' featuring the title track "Because You're My Woman." Alongside his hit songs like "Delete," he gained significant popularity through TV variety shows such as '1 Night 2 Days' and 'New Journey to the West.'

 

As an actor, he starred in numerous dramas, including 'Famous Chil Princesses,' 'Brilliant Legacy,' 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,' 'The King 2 Hearts,' and 'Gu Family Book.'

 

Lee Seung-gi married actress Lee Da-in last April and welcomed their first daughter in February this year.
