SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Yonhap) -- The 2022 American comedy-drama film “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” starring Michelle Yeoh Choo Keng, will be hitting the local theaters once again in South Korea on Mar. 1.

The absurdist comedy-drama, which initially hit the big screen in Korea in Oct. last year, formerly made a promise to revisit the theaters in hopes of Michelle Yeoh winning Best Actress at the Oscars. The actress ended up scoring her first-ever Oscar nomination for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” She became the first person who identifies as Asian to be winning the best actress prize at the Oscars.

The A24 film was nominated for a total of 11 Academy Awards, and last month, the smash-hit film won five and two gold medals at the Critics Choice and Golden Globe, respectively.

In addition to her Oscar-winning role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” Michelle Yeoh has credits that include “Crazy Rich Asians,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” and the James Bond film “Tomorrow Never Dies.”
