SEOUL, May 26 (Yonhap) --BTS kicked off "BTS The City Arirang - Las Vegas" in the U.S. city last week local time, agency BigHit Music said Tuesday.

 

Launched on Wednesday local time, "The City" is an offline fan event program held in cities where BTS stages concerts, offering fans various experiences before and after performances.

 

The Las Vegas edition was organized in conjunction with the group's four concerts scheduled for May 23-24 and May 27-28.

 

Las Vegas was illuminated in red, the signature color of BTS' fifth studio album "ARIRANG."

Along the Strip, the city's main commercial district, landmarks including the High Roller, the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower and the Gateway Arch, as well as major hotels, were lit with vivid red lights.

 

At a large resort in the center of the Strip, a six-minute fireworks show synchronized to BTS songs "NORMAL" and "Hooligan" from the new album was held.

 

BTS is currently conducting a world tour consisting of 85 concerts across 34 cities worldwide.
