SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Yonhap) -- Boy group T1419’s member Sian (birth name: Choi Chang-min) has tested positive for COVID-19.

“Sian showed symptoms of body aches yesterday and after a PCR test, he was confirmed positive,” said the agency MLD Entertainment, Thursday.

Sian completed the second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The agency announced, “Sian is undergoing treatment after quarantine,” adding, “All schedules have been canceled and measures have been taken by the guidelines of the quarantine authorities.”

With cases pouring out every day due to the Omicron variant, the music industry is also on alert.

During the five days of the Lunar New Year holiday, 10 artists including VIVIZ’s Eunha·SinB, THE BOYZ’s Sangyeon, DRIPPIN’s Lee Hyeop, Hwang Yun-seong·Joo Chang-uk·Cha Jun-ho, Momoland’s JooE, BTS’ Jimin, and Kim Jae-hwan have tested positive for COVID-19.
