SEOUL, July 18 (Yonhap) -- K-pop supergroup BTS will release a live album capturing the atmosphere of their global concerts.
Agency BigHit Music announced that BTS will release the live album titled "Permission to Dance on Stage – Live" at 1 p.m. on Friday.
The album features performances from BTS’s 2021–2022 world tour, which included stops in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. This marks the group’s first-ever live concert album.
A total of 22 tracks will be included, featuring hit songs such as "Dynamite," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," "Blood Sweat & Tears," "Spring Day," and "Dope."
Each track is a specially arranged version to suit the concert setting. "Fire" has been reimagined with a more intense sound, while "Dynamite" and "Butter" have been enhanced with brass instruments for a more upbeat feel.
Alongside the album, BTS will also release a video package of their 2022 "Permission to Dance on Stage" Seoul concert. Available via the fan platform Weverse, the package includes a digital code to access high-definition footage and a photo book featuring interviews with the members.
With all members recently completing their mandatory military service, BTS is expected to release a new album and embark on a large-scale world tour next spring. During a live broadcast on July 1, the members shared plans to begin music production and concert preparations in the United States.
