SEOUL, Aug. 8 (Yonhap) -- "Let's continue to create many joyful moments together," said singer Lim Young-woong as he expressed his thoughts on reaching the 8-year milestone in his career on the morning of the 8th through his official fan cafe.
Reflecting on his journey, Lim Young-woong reminisced, "I remember my debut stage with 'Miwooyo.' The immense nervousness of that day is still vivid, yet eight years have already passed."
"Every moment feels like it was just yesterday," he continued, adding, "Thanks to meeting all of you, I have always prioritized my health and happiness above all."
Lim also shared an update on his well-being, saying, "I feel much healthier than I did in my twenties. Back then, I was often in pain here and there, but these days, I am very vigorous."
Lim Young-woong made his debut with the digital single 'Miwooyo' on August 8, 2016. He spent years as an unknown singer before rising to stardom by winning 'Mr. Trot' in 2020. Since then, each of his releases has been successful, and he held a solo concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last May to great acclaim.
"Thanks to you all, it's a happy August 8th and an even happier 8th anniversary! I hope you all have a wonderful day," Lim Young-woong expressed. "I have an upcoming TV appearance after a long time, so please look forward to it."
Additionally, Lim Young-woong is set to release a concert film, 'Lim Young-woong I'm Hero the Stadium,' capturing the Seoul World Cup Stadium concert, which will premiere nationwide in CGV theaters on the 28th.
