SEOUL, April 10 (Yonhap) -- Global luxury beauty brand Sulwhasoo said Friday it will open a popup store, “Yunbit Reserve,” offering an immersive experience of its signature ginseng science and technology.
The popup store runs from April 10 to 19 at “The Crown” on the basement level of Lotte Avenuel Jamsil in Seoul.
The concept of “Reserve” refers to a curated space that accumulates the finest values perfected over time and dedication. Through the event, Sulwhasoo plans to showcase its proprietary ingredients and anti-aging technology developed through a 500-hour ginseng aging process.
The popup is designed as a journey themed around “yunbit,” allowing visitors to experience the brand’s philosophy in a multi-sensory way. At the “Yunbit Curation Zone,” visitors can receive advanced skin diagnostics to check their personalized yunbit index and get tailored product recommendations.
At the “Yunbit Core Zone,” the brand’s proprietary technology that simultaneously addresses five major signs of aging is visualized through immersive sphere displays.
The “Yunbit Cellar Zone” highlights the development process of the key ingredient “Lymphanax,” derived after 500 hours of careful preparation, underscoring the brand’s authenticity.
At the final “Yunbit Experience Zone,” visitors can try the flagship anti-aging product “First Care Activating Serum” and the new “First Care Activating Eye Serum,” experiencing visible skin changes that radiate firmness and glow from every angle.
Starting with Lotte Avenuel Jamsil, Sulwhasoo plans to expand customer touchpoints through a nationwide “Yunjo Relay Popup” tour across major department stores. The tour will begin at Hyundai Department Store Mokdong on May 4, followed by Lotte Department Store Incheon on May 14, Shinsegae Department Store Centum City on May 19, and Daegu on May 28, reaching customers across the country over about two months.
A Sulwhasoo official said the popup was designed to go beyond simple product application and allow customers to directly experience and relate to the essence of the brand’s ginseng science.
The popup store is open to all visitors without prior reservation, and special promotions and purchase benefits are available on-site, the company added.
