SEOUL, July 12 (Yonhap) -- Game “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” features Korean stores like tteokbokki and kimbap store.

Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation(aT) announced on Monday that “K-food island” was created in “Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” and they started online marketing.

‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ is a game in which users can create villages and connect with neighbors using virtual animal characters. It is a global game content that is popular not just in producing country Japan, but also in Korea and English-American countries.

aT is introducing various menus including Tteokbokki, kimbap, and korean pancake through the virtual island, K-food Island.

It also organized virtual themed area with various spaces like Museum and convenience store.

aT will be holding various online events like Quiz and Design contests in K-food island for MZ generation(Generation born in the 1980s and 2000s) users until August.
