SEOUL, Jan. 21 (Yonhap) -- Rookie band AMP is set to release its first mini album capturing the confidence of youth.

FNC Entertainment said Wednesday that AMP will release its first mini album, "Amplify My Way," at 6 p.m.

"Amplify My Way" tells the story of young people pursuing their dreams at their own pace. The album title reflects the band’s confidence in moving forward in their own way.

The album features a total of seven tracks, including double title songs "PASS" and "And a Few Days Later."

"PASS" expresses the band’s belief that no obstacle can stand in their way, highlighted by sharp electric guitar riffs. "And a Few Days Later," a modern rock track, contrasts in mood as it depicts emotions replaying an unforgettable moment day after day.

Other tracks include "Punch-Drunk," which captures the dizzying feeling of falling in love, and "Sometimes I Curse," which unravels the emotional turmoil that follows a breakup.

During the album’s production, member Ha Yoo-jun participated in writing lyrics for all tracks, while Kim Shin expressed gratitude to a cherished person through his self-composed song "Your Usual Day."

AMP is the first new band introduced in a decade by FNC, home to FTISLAND and CNBLUE. The band debuted in September last year with its full-length album "AXMXP."

To mark the album’s release, AMP will hold a concert at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seoul at 7 p.m., where it will perform all tracks from the new album live.
