SEOUL, Aug. 16 (Yonhap) -- Beloved 2000s K-dramas "My Lovely Sam Soon" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You" are set to be re-released in 4K ultra-high-definition this fall.

Wavve announced on the 16th that these dramas will be part of their "New Classic" project, which includes remastering the originals with enhanced video and audio quality, as well as adding subtitles for improved viewing convenience.

Both original directors, Kim Yoon-cheol of "My Lovely Sam Soon" and Lee Hyung-min of "I'm Sorry, I Love You," are personally overseeing the remastering process.

"My Lovely Sam Soon," starring Kim Sun-a, Hyun Bin, and Jung Ryeo-won, achieved over 50% viewership ratings during its 2005 broadcast and was remade in the Philippines and Thailand. "I'm Sorry, I Love You," featuring So Ji-sub and Im Soo-jung, became a sensation in 2004 with its unique storyline and characters, reaching a peak viewership of 28%.

In addition to these remastered classics, Wavve will release the original drama "Face Me," starring Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun, later this year. The series follows a renowned plastic surgeon who becomes involved in uncovering the truth behind a crime after performing surgery on a victim.

Wavve's fall lineup also includes the third season of the reality show "Game of Blood," the new variety show "Queen Bee Game," and PD Lee Wook-jung's latest documentary, "Long Live the Dog."
