ULSAN, Mar. 30 (Yonhap) – The 7th Ulju Mountain Film Festival, which will be held from Apr. 1 to 10, will provide various programs that allow people to enjoy watching movies in nature outside of indoor theaters.

According to the film festival on Apr. 29, "Alps Cinema 3," an outdoor theater where you can enjoy watching movies with your dog, will hold the "With the Dog(translated)" program on Apr. 3 and 4 at 5 p.m.

Another outdoor theater, "Alps Cinema 4," offers a chance to watch Swiss movies that go along with the mood of nights in spring.

It will feature movies of diverse genres and themes that introduce the culture and nature of Swiss Alps, the guest country of this year's festival, such as “Vanile,” “Snow Flower,” “Aletsch Glacier,” an experiment film under the theme of glaciers, “Game,” and “Cows on the Roof,” a documentary film that depicts the four seasons of Switzerland.

A large semi-open theater called “UMFF Cinema,” located in the center of Yeongnam Alps’ Cultural Center, displays a large screen to increase immersion while watching movies.

Moreover, movies that the whole family can enjoy watching during the weekend on Apr. 2 and 3 have been prepared.

The movies include a fantastic animation "Martin and the Magiccal Forest," "Sune – Uppdrag midsommar," and "The Ice Road,” an action film starring Liam Neeson.

The staff from the film festival said, "It will be an opportunity to enjoy watching movies in nature, relieving concerns about COVID-19."

This year’s Ulju Mountain Film Festival will be held at Yeongnam Alps’ Cultural Center in Ulju-gun from Apr. 1 to 10.

The 148 films from 42 countries, which cover the subjects of mountains, nature, and environment, and diverse experience programs will be provided to the audience.
